Musical

The DJAES PTA proudly supports the annual school musical, giving students the opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence, and work together through the performing arts. From performers and stage crew to costumes and sets, the production provides valuable hands-on experiences while bringing our school community together.

In the fall, 3rd-5th grade students are invited to audition for the production and everyone who auditions gets a role! The students receive coaching in acting, singing and dancing but the PTA also relies heavily on parent and community participation to pull it all off. If you are interested in being a part of this production team, please visit our volunteer interest page here.

We look forward to having families and friends join us in celebrating the hard work and talent of our students at this exciting annual event. We have a mandatory parent meeting on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:00PM. Please click on the link below to join. An audition interest form is due by Monday, October 26th. Link will become available below after the parent meeting. Rehearsals will be held Tuesdays, Thursdays and select Wednesdays. This year’s production of Beauty and the Beast will be presented on March 4-5, 2027.
