Garden

Introduced in 2022, our school garden is a vibrant outdoor classroom where students learn by planting, growing, and caring for fruits, vegetables, flowers, and herbs. Through hands-on experiences, children explore science, nutrition, environmental stewardship, and teamwork while developing a deeper appreciation for nature. Thanks to the generosity and support of our PTA, the garden provides meaningful learning opportunities that help cultivate curiosity, responsibility, and a strong sense of community.

Please consider signing up to oversee the garden during the school day.  This gives the children access to explore outside of their classroom experience. An hour commitment for a big reward. Please reach out to our garden committee chair for more details on how to be a volunteer here or click on the icons below to sign up or donate items, if needed. Verification of at least a Tier II CUSD volunteer status is required.
