The layout of the 250 pages is a demonstration of how uncluttered layout combined with simple design produces a highly effective teaching tool. I get excited by any book with "workbook" in its title (also, "Teach Yourself"). There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Lots of exercises included. It also describes some motivation on why a person should sketch and introduces the sketchbook. Sketching Working Experience: The Workbook provides information about the step-by-step process of the different sketching techniques. This is a superb book for anyone who deals in processes.

Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2012, Over the past two years I've spent many evenings and weekends teaching myself everything I can about IA/UX/IxD and so have surveyed many of the books available. Disappointed by how little of this book actually had to do with sketching.
